Bellevue-based Continental Properties completed a nearly $15.1-million land assemblage near Seattle’s Climate Pledge Area with plans to develop an eight-story, 143-unity multifamily project. The final site acquired is a corner lot at 10 Harrison St. that was sold by the ArtsFund for $10 million. Two small lots had previously been acquired by Continental.
The project will also include 9,000 square feet of retail and 137 underground parking stalls. Construction on the site is anticipated to commence in early 2021. Seattle-based Group Architect was selected to design the project and Compass will serve as the general contractor.
The Kreielsheimer Foundation had gifted 10 Harrison, which houses the 1964-era Century Building (pictured), to the ArtsFund in 1999.
