CoreNet’s REmmy Awards and Charity Gala Honors Industry Leaders

On November 5, CoreNet Global Southern California hosted the REmmy Awards and Charity Gala at the Montage Beverly Hills. Real estate leaders from near and far gathered to honor their peers for outstanding achievement and innovation in the industry across three categories.

National judges included: Michelle Myer (VP, Americas Real Estate and Facilities, Oracle), Chris Staal (Director, Global Real Estate Bose Corporation), and Gina Rizzo (Global Client Relations, Herman Miller).

Winners included:

  • Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year-  Jim Seifert, Manager of Corporate Real Estate and Planning – Sempra Energy
  • Innovative Workplace- Glumac Los Angeles (designed by Gensler, constructed by Taslimi Corporation)
  • Economic Development Catalyst- 4th Street Market, Downtown Santa Ana

Additionally, the chapter demonstrated its commitment to giving back by presenting a $5,000 check to Junior Achievement of Southern California, a nonprofit that focuses on teaching financial literacy to youth and promotes a love of learning through experiential programs for students.

Olivia Crever, chair of the awards and gala, said, “This remains one of the only award programs to recognize the best in corporate real estate. It is an important part of our chapter’s focus.”
