Coretrust Capital Partners LLC acquired the 940,000-square-foot office portion of the 1.2-million-square-foot Two Liberty Place in Philadelphia, from Parkway Properties, which was represented by CBRE. The sales price was reported at $200 million, or approximately $213 per square foot.
Delivered in 1990, Two Liberty is part of Liberty Place, the three-million-square-foot mixed-use complex designed by Murphy/Jahn Architects. The locale was originally Cigna’s headquarters; the company currently occupies approximately one-third of the building’s office space. Coretrust’s plan is to upgrade the common areas.
