Cotton Citizen Inks SoHo Deal for First NYC Store

RFR Realty has arranged a lease agreement with Cotton Citizen at 11 Howard St., a 207-key boutique hotel in SoHo. It will serve as the high-end fashion brand’s first New York City store.

Jordan S. Claffey, EVP and head of retail at RFR, represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Jeremy Aidan of Isaacs and Company acted on behalf of the tenant.

Cotton Citizen has a flagship location on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, and another under construction at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. The retailer was attracted to “11 Howard’s prime location in New York City’s fashionable SoHo district,” said Claffey.

“11 Howard is a perfect fit and is in line with our plans to open at the Wynn Q1 2019,” said Aidan. “Our continued expansion will reflect throughout the country.”
