Bill Swirtz, a 35-year commercial real estate veteran, has joined Colliers International in Arizona as the firm’s vice president. He specializes in office, retail, multifamily and office properties, as well as land development, representing tenants, investors and owners in leasing and development sales.
Swirtz was previously president of Swirtz Realty Advisors LLC, and president and designated broker with Apollo Development Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of University of Phoenix parent company Apollo Group Inc.
He completed 450 lease transactions in 41 states and $2 billion in lease consideration and developed, leased, and sold more than three million square feet of office in metro Phoenix. In addition, he has overseen, designed and negotiated 11 build-to-suit office properties in eight states.
“After years of serving in executive leadership positions, he is jumping back into the active brokerage world,” said Colliers International’s Bob Mulhern. “In keeping with his successful track record, Bill has already landed some great listings.”
