After being appointed as an advisor to Cresa’s Board of Directors in September 2015, James Underhill returns to his tenant representation roots as CEO of Boston-based Cresa. The former Cushman & Wakefield senior executive, who headed its Americas division until late 2014, will take over the leadership reins from Richard Rhodes, who served as Cresa’s interim chief executive.
Underhill says his five year vision includes a new strategic plan to increase Cresa’s revenues and employees. The firm’s revenues were $295-million in 2015, and roughly $280-million in 2014, for the 1,000-employee network of more than 70 independently owned offices.
