Tenant-rep veteran Michael Okun has joined Cresa NY as principal, and has brought VPs Daniel Taormina and Richard Shames with him. Before joining Cresa, the group worked together at CBC Alliance.

“This is a super team of enthusiastic, knowledgeable brokers who are tenant specialists,” said Richard Selig, managing principal at Cresa NY. “They bring a wealth of skills that will be incredibly useful in serving the needs of our clients.”

A 15-year industry veteran, Okun has managed leasing programs for clients across the tech, media, coworking, fashion and construction sectors. He received a Silver Circle of Distinction Award every year from 2010 to 2016 at his previous firm. Taormina brings more than five years of real estate expertise to Cresa, while Shames began his career learning the skills of negotiation by helping companies win settlements as part of the Deepwater Horizon settlement program.
