Solana Beach-based Chesnut Properties acquired a seven-acre site and option on the balance of a 28-acre site in Chula Vista for an undisclosed price. The developer already started site grading for Millenia Office, a 318,000-square-foot office within the 210-acre transit-oriented, urban-style community located within the Cali Baja Bi-National Mega-Region.
The first phase of Millenia Office includes two four-story office buildings, a 1,200-vehicle parking structure, and a 7,000-square-foot fitness center and café complex. The first phase will also include a more than 40,000-square-foot Chula Vista library.
Chesnut Properties envisions creating a sustainable, pedestrian-friendly environment for innovation and collaboration in a cluster of three campus environments.
