Douglas Emmett signed a 32,500-square-foot lease renewal with Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP at 9401 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. The business law firm will occupy completely rebuilt space on the building’s top two floors, while retaining its building-top signage, and remain in Beverly Hills through 2037.
Douglas Emmett’s Andrew Goodman says, “Douglas Emmett recently acquired 9401 Wilshire Boulevard, and will soon complete a multi-million dollar building upgrade to ensure that its tenant’s experience matches the quality of the iconic Beverly Hills Triangle location.”
The firm was weighing a move to Century City when its existing lease expires in 2021.
Ervin Cohen & Jessup’s Barry MacNaughton says, “Given our expansive growth in recent years, we require updated offices that are efficient from a space-planning perspective, support technological advancements and better service our clientele. Additionally, we have placed an emphasis on conference and collaborative spaces.”
