The Irvine, CA-based office of Duke Realty plans to build a 201,027-square-foot warehouse at 11600 Alameda St. in Lynwood, CA, adjacent to an existing 323,374-square-foot building. Construction of the facility is stated to begin this month, with completion scheduled in March of next year.
The building will feature 32-foot clear height, 54-foot by 50-foot bay spacing, 34 dock doors, a 180-foot concrete yard and LED light fixtures.
Duke Realty’s Chris Burns notes land constraints limit development in the South Bay market. “We were fortunate enough to acquire this 8.67-acre site last year and are ready to start construction,” he said. “With the delivery of this building, we will be able to offer potential customers a move-in ready, state-of-the-art logistics facility with excellent freeway access and proximity to LAX and the Ports.”
