Elm Creek Takes Control at SA Power Center

Woodlake Crossing, a 159,703-square-foot retail power center in San Antonio, was recently purchased by Dallas-based Elm Creek Real Estate. Kevin Catalani with CBRE in San Antonio represented the seller, InvenTrust Properties, which reported a sale price of $5.5 million in an SEC filing.

Elm Creek already owned the shadow-anchor for Woodlake Crossing, previously occupied by Target. This acquisition now allows Elm Creek full control of the shopping center.

“Despite all that is happening, there is still investor demand in the San Antonio retail market and this transaction is a testament to that,” said Catalani.

Austin-based Stream Realty will be marketing the available retail space. “With full controlling ownership of the shopping center, Elm Creek Real Estate will now have the flexibility to rebrand and to work with local and national retailers to create a diverse and dynamic retail tenant mix,” said Stream’s Ryan Ridgeway.
