Columbia, MD.-based affordable housing nonprofit Enterprise Community Partners has hired Drew Warshaw as Chief Operating Officer for Enterprise and its family of companies. As COO, Warshaw will oversee the implementation of Enterprise’s forthcoming five-year strategic plan, and leverage the full range of Enterprise’s capabilities in support of the organization’s mission.
Warshaw comes to Enterprise from Clearway Energy Group, among the three largest renewable energy companies in the United States. At Clearway, he built and managed the company’s Community Solar business. Prior to Clearway, Warshaw served in several public sector roles, first at a policy think tank, then in a gubernatorial administration, and, most recently, as chief of staff at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
“At a moment when the most foundational element of our life, our home, has never been more essential to our well-being and yet has never felt so hard to attain or hard to hold onto, we have a chance to move the needle for people. That is what drives me,” said Warshaw. “I am so grateful to join Enterprise with its end-to-end capabilities, deep talent and rich history, and feel especially fortunate to start on the ground floor of a new strategic plan. I look forward to digging in with my colleagues and getting down to execution.”
