Enviro Tech Chemical Services planted its flag in the West Texas town of Levelland, launching construction on a 38,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The California company is building its $8-million facility in Levelland’s Industrial Rail Park, with plans to initially process approximately 10,000 tons of domestically sourced raw materials a year.
Enviro Tech, which manufactures water treatment chemicals and technologies, will provide water recycling services to Permian Basin operations to help relieve stress on water disposal wells. In the Levelland factory’s first phase, the company will employ 25 people directly, with plans to expand the workforce by 75 upon completion of a $5-million expansion.
The 243-acre Levelland Industrial Rail Park was developed by the Levelland Economic Development Corp. The park, situated 30 minutes west of Interstate 27 and between Interstates 20 and 40, is rail-served.
