Equus Capital Partners Ltd. kicked off renovation of its Houston office building at the 153,626-square-foot 5300 Memorial Dr., and is readying to do the same thing on the office asset at the 148,790-square-foot 10497 Town & Country Way. The Philadelphia-based company is investing approximately $3 million on the Memorial Drive asset, and a little more on the other office building.
The plan for the Memorial Drive property is to modernize the ground-floor lobby, elevator cabs, restrooms and entryway. In addition, the owner will add a new lobby coffee bar and LED lighting in common areas. The work at Town & Country will have similar upgrades and additions, according to Equus, which acquired both assets in February.
