First Dunkin’ Donuts Opens in Riverside

The first Dunkin’ Donuts store opened in Riverside, CA, marking the 12,000th location of the fast-expanding, Boston-based QSR. The chain’s first restaurant in the Inland Empire opened in Murrieta last year. It operates 35 in the state so far, and plans to expand to 300 in the coming years.

The latest addition is owned and operated by franchisee Parag Patel, who opened two SoCal Dunkin’ Donuts this summer in Villa Park and Yorba Linda. He plans to open 20 new Riverside and Orange County locations in the future.

Progressive Real Estate Partners’ Pablo Velasco, who is representing Patel, though didn’t handle the initial deal, says, “We are always excited about new restaurant brands coming into the Inland Empire, especially one that has the national recognition of Dunkin’ Donuts.”
