First Escondido Industrial Facility in 10 Years Planned

San Diego-based Badiee Development plans to develop Escondido Victory Industrial Park in Escondido, CA on a 4.87-acre site it acquired for $1.3 million. The $13.5-million, two building, 91,000-square-foot project was designed by Irvine, CA-based Ware Malcomb.

The facility will feature a 26-foot clear height, grade-level and dock-high loading, mezzanine space, and outdoor common areas that enhance connections to the Escondido Creek and trails.

Badiee Development’s John Couvillion says, “The Escondido Victory Industrial Park will be the first new industrial development in Escondido in more than a decade.” He believes it is the right time for a project, given Escondido’s 1.8% vacancy and a reduced development pipeline as a result of extremely constrained land supply.

The developer plans to break ground late this year.  Colliers International’s Tucker Hohenstein and Mike Erwin are handling the leasing.
