Charlotte, NC-based Flagship Healthcare Properties completed its first Louisiana acquisition, with the purchase of Covington Medical Arts Pavilion in New Orleans for an undisclosed amount. The Class A, 55,000 square foot medical office building is certified LEED Silver, and located at 5025 Keystone Blvd.

The facility, which was built in 2014 to I2 level construction, houses a 24-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, a 24-bed behavioral health hospital and private physician offices. Lend Lease developed and owned the facility.

Covington Medical Arts Pavilion is located on the campus of Lakeview Regional Medical Center, which recently joined the venture between Hospital Corporation of America and New Orleans-based Tulane University. Lakeview Regional Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital, providing inpatient and outpatient healthcare services in St. Tammany Parish.
