Florida’s Tallest Building Tops Out

Miami’s Florida East Coast Realty reached a construction milestone on the $800-million Panorama Tower. The 85-story residential project topped off at 868 feet, cementing its commanding prominence on Miami’s skyline.

It is Florida’s tallest building, and also claimed the title of tallest residential tower south of New York on the eastern seaboard.

The three-million-square-foot, mixed-use development at 1101 Brickell Ave. contains 821 luxury apartments, and a 19-story pedestal with a 208-room Hyatt Centric hotel. There’s also more than 100,000 square feet of medical office space, some 50,000 square feet of high-end retail and restaurant space, as well as a 2,000-car parking garage.

The list of residential amenities is long and impressive – ranging from a lap pool, sun deck and weight room, to a pet groomer and serenity pool. Panorama Tower is slated to deliver later this year.
