Former 410K-SF Baker Hughes Plant Sells to HPI Real Estate

HPI Real Estate, headquartered in Austin, took possession of a vacant 409,685-square-foot distribution/high-tech manufacturing center in Schertz, TX, northeast of San Antonio. GE Oil & Gas Inc. sold the property, which once housed operations for Baker Hughes. Baker Hughes, which was, for a brief time part of GE, closed down the operations at the Schertz property in late 2018.

Situated on 40 acres at 1150 Schwab Rd., the four-building campus included an office area, as well as warehouse and production facilities. The site delivered in 2008 as a warehouse for Lack furniture then later on as a production plant for Salof Cos. GE Oil & Gas acquired Salof — and its plant — in 2013.

Carlos Marquez with NAI Partners represented the seller in the transaction.
