Former Chicago Ald. Joe Moore, a longtime member of the Chicago City Council, is joining Diliberto Real Estate Services’ Municipal Economic Services Group as national director.
“Moore’s long record of service and national stature in municipal government makes him a leading authority on revitalizing cities and towns,” said Dino Diliberto, director at Diliberto Real Estate.
Moore (above center) served seven years as a city attorney for the City of Chicago, and 28 years as alderman of the 49th Ward. In that capacity, he represented the North Side’s Rogers Park, one of the nation’s most economically and racially-diverse communities.
Then-Mayor Rahm Emanuel named him chairman of the Chicago City Council Committee on Housing and Real Estate in 2015.
“I look forward to using my 35 years of experience in government leadership, and my success in spearheading economic revitalization, to help cities and towns across Illinois and the U.S,” said Moore.
