Foundry Commercial acquired the 17-story, 289,000-square-foot 8080 North Central office tower in Dallas. The Florida-based buyer struck the deal with Rosemont Realty of Santa Fe, NM for an undisclosed amount. The Dallas Central Appraisal District valued the structure at $46.8 million.
8080 North Central delivered in 1984, and is more than 90% leased. Tenants include BBVA Compass Bank, Health Texas and Regency Centers. CBRE represented Rosemont, which held the asset for five years, in the transaction.
The transaction is Foundry’s third in the Dallas area. In September, the company acquired the 18-story Glen Tower, also on North Central Expressway. And the company acquired the 317,000-square-foot Campbell Creek Business Park in Richardson, TX this past June.
