Four Corners Development Moves Forward on Affordable Senior Complexes

Missouri developer Four Corners Development applied to the Longview (TX) Development Services Department to build Hickory Trails, a three-story, 45-unit senior complex. If all goes according to plan, the developer will launch construction on Hickory Trails, at Page Road and East Loop 281 in September 2019, with pre-leasing set to begin in early 2020.

Four Corners is also ready to convert the former Weaver Building at 208 N. Green St. in Longview into Heritage Tower, which will offer 35 affordable rentals for seniors. Renovations will begin in August 2019, and take 13 months to complete.

Hickory Trails and Heritage Tower will offer one and two-bedroom units. Hickory Trails is geared toward individuals age 62 and older, while Heritage Tower will be open to renters who are 55 years and older. Rents will be based on ability to pay for renters with incomes from 30%-60% of the area median income.
