Frank Gehry Designing Sunset Strip Mixed-Use Project

Legendary architect Frank Gehry, who designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles among other significant buildings throughout the world, is now on board with a mixed-use project at Sunset and Crescent Heights Boulevards.

Townscape Partners is building the 333,600-square-foot development, which will feature 249 residential units as well as 65,700 square feet of retail. The $300 million complex will span over five buildings, and feature an 11-story apartment tower and a 15-story condominium structure.

Townscape looks to break ground late next year or in early 2017.
