Frisco, TX’s $5B Mile Booms From Dallas Cowboys Addition

Those in North Texas have known, for the most part, that the Dallas Cowboys football team will be relocating from their long-time digs in Valley Ranch (Las Colinas), TX to Frisco; a far-north Dallas suburb. The Dallas Cowboys’ Star project, as it’s called, is also anchoring what is being known as the “$5 billion mile.”

Specifically, the mile refers to a stretch of planned real estate developments along the Dallas North Tollway, from Warren Parkway in the south, to Lebanon Road at the northern edge. Basically, the Cowboys’ $1.5 billion home will be the first of the $5 billion mile projects to open. Also ready to break ground are mixed-use projects, including the 242-acre Frisco Station, and the 175-acre Wade Park. The 41-acre Gate is still in the planning stages.
