FutureLand Buys Acreage for Cannabis Cultivation

FutureLand Oregon LLC, a subsidiary of FutureLand Corp., closed on half of a 265-acre swath in Wolf Creek, OR. The other half is being retained by the seller and FutureLand partner Hspendleton LLC. The land will be used to grow recreational cannabis.

The Denver-based FutureLand also owns acreage in Grants Pass, OR and 240 acres in southern Colorado. The Wolf Creek land already has an outdoor recreational grow facility, as well as a license owned by Groovy Groves LLC. FutureLand owns 49% of the license, and has an option to buy another 1% over the next two years.

The company indicated that its Tier II grow license means it can grow 40,000 square feet of flowering plants at one time. The first crop will reportedly be planted in late January.
