GMS Land sold three acres from a 65-acre parcel in Rosenberg, TX, and is also moving forward on its 108-acre, mixed-use Village Crossing-Rosenberg. Both assets are in Fort Bend County. Jim Shaw and Jennifer Raymond of JPR Commercial Real Estate represented the seller.
The three acres are situated on the south side of Interstate 69. RMS Assets was the buyer, and plans to build a retail center. The sale is the first from this parcel, which is at I-69 and U.S. 59 on S.H. 36.
Meanwhile, at Village Crossing, RMS had acquired an additional 34 acres earlier this year, adding it to the already-owned 74 acres. The buy allowed for frontage on I-69 and Farm-to-Market 2218, and is ready for sale to developers.
Rosenberg, southwest of Houston, is experiencing significant growth with the opening of Texas State Technical College and two new business parks breaking ground.
