Thor Equities recently leased 2,400 square feet at 933 Broadway, located between 21st and 22nd streets, to Godiva Café. The bakery and coffee shop, which will also offer an array of Godiva chocolates, will be the sixth location in New York and the U.S. for the Café.
“Truly a one-of-a-kind property, 933 Broadway presents an incredible opportunity for Godiva Café in the highly-coveted Flatiron District,” said Thor chairman and CEO Joseph Sitt. “We couldn’t imagine a more perfect location for the world’s leading chocolatier to debut their latest creations.”
Built in 1902, 933 Broadway is comprised of three historic buildings that were restored and redeveloped by Thor Equities in 2012. It’s also home to eatery Le Pain Quotidien and Flatiron Wine & Spirits.
Virginia Pittarelli, Christine Jorge, and Elizabeth Johnson of Crown Retail Services represented Godiva. Thor Equities was self-represented in the transaction.
