Goosehead Insurance inked a deal to take down 62,000 square feet of office space at Solana in Westlake, TX. Goosehead, currently based in Irving, TX, is planning to relocate its corporate headquarters to the 233-acre master-planned, mixed use development owned jointly by Equity Office and Blackstone. The company’s move is anticipated for August.
JLL’s Jeff Eckert, Blake Shipley, Jay Bailey and Frank Taylor negotiated the lease for landlord Equity Office Properties. CBRE’s Josh White and Rebecca Smith represented the tenant. Other global companies at Solana include Sabre, TD Ameritrade, Marsh & McLennan Cos., Verizon, Wells Fargo, Fidelity and Charles Schwab, according to a statement from Eckert.
Solana has 1.2 million square feet of Class A office space, and 44,000 square feet of retail space. Also on the campus is a 38,000-square-foot Larry North Fitness center, a full-service Marriot hotel and conference center, and a variety of restaurants.
