Connect Media is celebrating an important anniversary. Today marks two years since we began Connect Daily, our daily news that now reaches over 200,000 people each day. In honor of this anniversary, I wanted to share a little bit about where we’re going and where we’ve been.
First, the evolution. When we started Connect, we set out to provide the best commercial real estate news while maximizing everyone’s time. Stories 150 words or less. Half day events. Connecting you right to the person who did the deal. Since then, we’ve grown our readership from about 5,000 people in California, to a diverse group across the nation touching every property type and every part of the deal.
We’ve also grown our team. What was two people working at a dining room table, is now a group of 15 across the country. We handle video, content creation, daily news, events, design, and marketing. We have three offices in Downtown Los Angeles, Houston, and Manhattan. Our team is the reason we’ve grown and will continue to conquer new markets, and create new ideas that change the way we all consume our news and network.
What’s next? More, better, bigger. Next week, we will launch Connect Healthcare news, which will publish twice a month and cover everything in the sector. We’ve acquired Medical Office Today, and Jennifer Duell Popovec has joined the Connect team. In the coming months, you’ll see more events across the country and the property types and an announcement about our new Vice President of Events.
We’ll also be rolling out the Connect Property Slider, bringing together properties for sale and for lease for our deal-making readers.
