High Street Residential (HSR), the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, launched construction on a mixed-use development in the Lake Nokomis neighborhood of Minneapolis. The project will include 130 residential apartments and 24,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, which will be occupied by upscale supermarket Lunds & Byerlys.

The property is located at 4720 Longfellow Avenue S., and construction is slated for completion in the spring of 2021. It represents HSR’s seventh residential project in the Twin Cities since 2012.

“When we started evaluating opportunities in the Nokomis area, we found that there was a large void in the market for a luxury mixed-use housing development,” said HSR’s Mary Lucas. “We have thoughtfully designed the building to bring a unique housing option to the neighborhood.”

She added that the Lunds & Byerlys would be “a great amenity to our residents and to the surrounding neighborhood.”
