Hines Pursuing 200-Acre Mission Valley MXU

Houston-based Hines is finalizing a joint-venture with the Levi-Cushman family to redevelop the 200-acre Riverwalk Golf Club in Mission Valley as a mixed-use project. The Cushman family has owned the land for more than 100 years.

Among the plans being considered are roughly 4,000 housing units, as well as office and retail space. Preliminary proposals for the project are expected to be shared at a community meeting this spring.

Previous plans to develop the site over the years, including ones with Related and Chevron Land, did not come to fruition. An agreement between Levi-Cushman and Hines is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
