Hispanic retailers are zeroing in on their customer base more closely, expanding and posting strong sales, said Arturo Sneider, chief executive officer of Los Angeles-based Primestor, which owns shopping centers that cater to the Latino consumer.
He spoke with Connect Media’s Daniel Ceniceros at ICSC Western Division Conference in San Diego.
Sneider also said that mega chains, like H&M and Charlotte Russe, are also putting out Hispanic-focused stores and are better understanding the demographic. There are also more stores and developers trying to get into urban markets where there is a dense Latino population.
