The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) says housing demand will surge in the next decade.
The MBA report projects between 13.9 million and 15.9 million new households will be formed by 2024. Hispanics, Baby Boomers and Millennials will reportedly be the drivers of this bump, as well as an improvement in overall employment.
The MBA indicates that this major surge in housing demand will result in a 65 percent rise in home ownership, one of the largest housing increases in United States history.
