Hudson River Marina Sold for Residential Development

A residential developer has bought one of the last sites along the Hudson River in Edgewater, NJ, that can accommodate a sizable redevelopment.

“Twenty homes can be developed on the site. The aggressive pricing reflects both the strength of the residential market and the bullish view of developers along the Hudson Waterfront,” said Michael Oliver, senior director with HFF, which represented the seller of the 1.73-acre site at 1339 River Rd., approximately one mile south of the George Washington Bridge.

The riverside property has been the home and marina business of the von Dohln family for three generations.
