A 56,600-square-foot medical office building on San Antonio’s north side is headed for auction, months after its owner/developer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. CBRE is marketing the asset at 9618 Huebner Rd. The auction is scheduled for March 27, 2019.
Local investor Tresha MOB LLC announced plans to build a two-story, 36,000-square-foot medical office building in 2016. The developers anticipated there would be enough demand for more space, and added a third floor. Huebner Ambulatory Surgery Center is the building’s anchor, with approximately two-thirds of the available space occupied. The ownership filed for bankruptcy in October 2018.
CBRE’s Scott Herbold told the San Antonio Business Journal that buyers must submit proof of funds and an offer to his firm by 5 p.m., March 21. Those interested also must wire $200,000 in earnest money to Presidio Title Co. by the same deadline.
