There has been several million square feet of industrial space built in the Inland Empire since its recovery started in 2011, and that is not expected to change any time soon. Millions more are coming online as this sector of commercial real estate enjoys one of the best logistics areas in the country.
Reports say that the Inland Empire actually has the most industrial space under construction in the nation, as of the second quarter. Meanwhile, the vacancy rate in the western parts of Riverside and San Bernardino counties is only 3.7 percent, while the rate is at six percent in the eastern region. Both are below the national average of 6.8 percent.
