Irvine Co. Moves Forward on Twin Spectrum Center Tower

The Irvine Company is moving forward with a mirror-tower to its just-christened Irvine Spectrum property, at 200 Spectrum Center Dr. The dominant landlord in Orange County began construction on a 21-story vertical campus at 400 Spectrum Center Dr.

The new 426,000-square-foot tower is rising off Alton Parkway, and expected to be completed by September 2017. The Pei Cobb Freed & Partners-designed glass-walled tower reflects Irvine Co.’s long-term faith in the city as a premier coastal California location for forward-thinking business.

Irvine Co.’s Doug Holte says, “Both 200 and 400 Spectrum Center Dr. will elevate business for our customers, and add to Irvine’s spectacular skyline.” Holte says it’s pre-leased 40-percent of 200 Spectrum Center to Mazda North American Operations, WeWork, and Curse Inc.
