Japanese Culinary Concepts Join Equity Residential MF

Equity Residential’s One Henry Adams apartment development in San Francisco signed a trio of deals to fill the final 5,400 square feet of retail space. Noted restauranteur Kash Feng leased 3,200 square feet for a Japanese yakiniku steakhouse and whiskey bar; 1,500 square feet for a fast-casual udon restaurant; and 800 square feet for a Japanese butcher shop.

Located at 1 Henry Adams St., the two, six-story buildings have signed leases for 102 of the 241 units. The culinary concepts are slated to begin opening in Q4 2017, following The Grove, which is scheduled to debut in April 2017.

Each of the new outlets are on Division Street, facing Townsend Square, and will feature separate retail storefronts, entries, and designs. They will share internal infrastructure such as kitchen, storage, and restrooms, a concept introduced with Feng’s Michelin-rated Omakase and Okane restaurants.
