Mark Torre, Scott Frank and Walter Mehl Jr. have been named managing partners at mechanical and electrical engineering firm Jaros, Baum & Bolles. The trio is succeeding Mitch Simpler, who will remain as partner at JB&B, as he takes on the role of chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies.
Each of the three new managing partners brings more than 30 years’ professional experience to his new role. “We have a strong sense of the firm’s legacy,” said Torre, “but a stronger sense of how that legacy can be leveraged into a progressive vision, a renewed culture.” Torre has spearheaded the firm’s efforts on top-tier tristate, national and international projects, with projects across all major market sectors. Frank leads JB&B’s team of HVAC design professionals, while Mehl has been the driving force behind the development of JB&B Technologies, the firm’s low-voltage services arm.
