JLL Arranges $57.5M Sale of Laguna Beach Hotel

Connect Orange County is coming up July 27th at the Balboa Bay Club. Here’s where to get more information and register.

JLL’s hotels and hospitality group completed the sale of Pacific Edge Hotel, on behalf of a joint venture owned by affiliated entities of Westport Capital Partners, LLC. Highgate, in a joint venture with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, purchased the 109-key property for $57.5 million.

The property is ideally located along Pacific Coast Highway in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach, CA, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hotel features two acclaimed oceanfront food and beverage outlets, including Driftwood Kitchen, and The Deck, an open-air, beachside restaurant.

Unique to the property are five stylized oceanfront Bungalows, utilized for indoor and outdoor daytime spaces that offer the most unique beach experience and social gathering. Additionally, the hotel offers more than 4,000 square feet of meeting space, two outdoor heated pools and whirlpools, and direct beach access.

JLL’s John Strauss, Tony Muscio and Willis Cheng handled the transaction.
