KDC will commence the second phase of Park Center, at 1111 Hammond Dr. N.E. in Dunwoody, GA. The commercial real estate developer and investor demolished the Hammond Exchange building, once occupied by State Farm Insurance, to pave the way for a two-building, 1.2-million-square-foot office tower complex.
State Farm, which already occupies Park Center’s first phase, will lease space in both phase two towers. The first tower, rising 22 stories, will be completed at the end of 2019, and the second 19-story tower will deliver in 2020.
KDC broke ground in 2014 on Park Center, a 17-acre master-planned, transit-oriented development in the Perimeter Center of Dunwoody. The first office tower is a 13-story building situated on a seven-level parking structure, with ground-floor retail. The Class A building is located on four acres at Hammond Drive and Perimeter Center Parkway.
