Kilroy Disposes of Carlsbad Land, Now Planned for Industrial Campus

San Diego-based Badiee Development acquired two land parcels in Carlsbad, CA totaling 8.4 acres for $6 million from Los Angeles-based Kilroy Realty Corp. The company plans to develop Carlsbad Oaks Innovation Park, a $21-million speculative “flex” campus.

The two-building Class A project will include 102,937 square feet of office and industrial space. The site is within the larger Carlsbad Oaks North Business Park, a master-planned development off Whiptail Loop, near Faraday Ave.

A first quarter 2017 ground breaking is planned, with completion slated for the fourth quarter of 2017.

Colliers International’s Tucker Hohenstein and Mike Erwin represented both the buyer and seller.
