Flexible workspace provider Knotel has named its first VP of product, tapping brand builder Sanjiv Sanghavi for the role. Sanghavi co-founded health club aggregator ClassPass in 2011, and founded consumer-friendly oral care brand Tulip four years after that.
“Knotel struck me as incredibly ambitious and stood out to me among all the white noise in the market,” Sanghavi said. He called the brand “the office model of the future.”
The new hire comes a month after Knotel brought Rachel Meranus aboard as its first-ever chief marketing officer. Since a Series A fundraising round of $25 million in February 2017, Knotel has launched in new markets, signed partnerships with two coworking firms, tripled the size of its Manhattan real estate portfolio, and grown its footprint to more than 800,000 square feet of space.
