Knotel has finalized two leases across the street from one another on Eighth Avenue. The flexible office company has committed to 11,400 square feet at East End Capital’s 580 Eighth Ave., and an 8,574 square-foot space at Olmstead Properties’ 575 Eighth Ave.
Alex Kantor represented East End in-house at 580 Eighth, and Daniel Breiman represented Olmstead in-house at 575 Eighth. Knotel had no outside tenant representation.
Eugene Lee, Knotel’s global head of real estate, said the Eighth Avenue leases were “a great example of how demand grows rapidly within the markets where we already have a presence. We are proud to work with owners to reduce vacancy quickly, and provide more options in our Midtown West campus.”
Knotel has moved into the neighborhood itself recently. Last month, the company relocated its headquarters to 2290 W. 43rd St., the former New York Times building, where it now occupies 57,000 square feet.
