Koreatown Renaissance Continues

Los Angeles-based Century West Partners topped off Next On Sixth, a 398-unit apartment community slated to open later this year. The development team gathered at Los Angeles’ Koreatown site, at Sixth St. and Virgil Ave. to commemorate the construction milestone.

The stylish, seven-story development, designed by Santa Monica-based KFA, includes six upper floors featuring leading-edge designed units presented in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans. The ground level features a sophisticated lobby, and a 22,000-square-foot Target, one of just a few of its urban-concept retail stores to debut in Los Angeles.

“The rejuvenation of Koreatown is truly exciting to us,” said Steven Fifield, partner with Century West Partners. “The blend of retail and restaurant amenities, coupled with the incredible location, has made Koreatown a widely-sought place to live among young professionals, millennials and those seeking a vibrant urban lifestyle.”
