Kowalchuk, Ahlf Step Into New Roles at Skanska in Seattle

Skanska USA Building promoted Don Kowalchuk to SVP of operations and Lacey Ahlf to VP of operations in Seattle. Kowalchuk’s position, a new one for the company, will focus on training and recruiting, development and advocating for the company’s field leadership.

Ahlf is being promoted into the role Kowalchuk previously held from project executive, Seattle commercial manager. She will focus on office staffing and personnel advocacy, work culture and commercial management for the construction and development firm.

Skanska’s Kevin McCain says, “Both Don and Lacey have tremendous experience, are well respected members of our team, and have the skillsets that will help us grow as a company and continue our momentum.”

Kowalchuk’s served at Skanska for 29 years, while Ahlf has been with the company for nine years. Kowalchuk served as a VP for more than eight years and previously held operations roles at Skanska for 21 years. Ahlf previously served at Turner Construction for nearly a decade.
