Canale Family Trust and Meyer Family Trust acquired a 1.75-acre land parcel located at 29716 Via Las Colinas in Murrieta, CA. The deal value landed just north of $1 million, and was sold by Rancho View Management, LLC.
The site is being developed as a free standing building for an ALDI grocery store, which typically run 18,000 square feet. The international grocery giant is in the midst of an aggressive coast-to-coast expansion. The company plans to operate approximately 45 California stores by the end of 2016, and more than 2,000 stores nationwide by the end of 2018.
Westmar Commercial Brokerage’s Scott Forest and Mark Esbensen represented the buyer. Lee & Associates’ Sheri Shoemaker and Mary Piper represented the seller.
