Lewis Group Gets Approval on Empire Lakes

Lewis Group of Companies received approval to move forward on plans to redevelop the Empire Lakes Golf Course in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The City Council liked the developers plans for a 160-acre high-density, urban community.

Lewis Group is acquiring Empire Lakes Golf Course this month, and envisions building upwards of 3,450 rental and for-sale residential units, along with 220,000 square feet of retail space, a community center, and recreation amenities. The project is aligned with the city’s plan to appeal to millennial professionals who desire walkable amenities, locations near transit options and nearby entertainment and activities.

Randall Lewis, executive vice president of Lewis Group of Companies, says the project could be a catalyst that serves as a “real economic engine” for Rancho Cucamonga, and helps solve housing needs in the region.
