Lightbridge Academy Chooses Far West Side for First Manhattan Lease

Early childhood education center Lightbridge Academy has signed its first Manhattan lease, committing to 15 years and 11,491 square feet at TF Cornerstone’s The Max residential tower at 606 W. 57th St.

“Lightbridge Academy will effectively service the dense residential community of this Far West Side neighborhood, which has really taken shape in recent years,” said Lee & Associates NYC’s Brad Schwarz, who represented Lightbridge. “This Lightbridge Academy will benefit from a built-in customer base, as it’s situated on the ground floor of the second largest residential building in Manhattan, housing 1,028 units.”

Ownership was represented by Winick Realty’s Steven E. Baker and Daniyel Cohen.

“Lightbridge Academy will be a great tenant for the many young families who not only live in this building, but also in the more than 5,000 apartments located within blocks of 606 W. 57th,” said Baker. He and Cohen are marketing the tower’s remaining retail.
