Lincoln Yards’ First Public Park Has Winter Hours

Sterling Bay’s Fleet Fields, the company’s first public park space at its Lincoln Yards mega-project, will remain open to the public this winter with seasonal hours now in effect. Fleet Fields will be open daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, subject to closure for extreme weather, until March 31, 2020 when regular hours will resume.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the community’s enthusiastic response to Fleet Fields and are proud of the impact it’s made with Chicago residents, both on an individual level and across many local organizations,” said Andy Gloor, CEO of Sterling Bay. “Chicagoans are tough and aren’t afraid to get out there and play even in cold temperatures, so we wanted to extend the enjoyment of the Fields through the winter to accommodate demand.”

Since its debut last July, Fleet Fields has been utilized regularly for free by thousands of Chicagoans and local organizations for programmed play.
